Nandan Shanbhag, MD: Hello, everyone. We would like to thank American Society for Radiation Oncology for giving us this opportunity to present at this year's mega event, ASTRO 2024. My name is Doctor Nandan Shanbhag. I'm a physician working in Tawa Hospital, one of the region's largest hospitals in United Arab Emirates. We are headed by our Chair, Doctor Khalid Bala Raj, who would also like to offer his gratitude for this opportunity. This year, we are presenting a very interesting research. The question for which was posed by one of our colleagues, Doctor Jose, which was simply, "how do we physicians, nurses and allied health personnel working in oncology and palliative care cope with patient loss?" We call it "Heart of Care: Embracing Grief and Growth in Oncology and Palliative Medicine." 19 countries from around the globe participated in this mixed method study, and 125 participants or responses were recorded. Be there on second of October, between 10:30 to 11:45 to get more details about this interesting study. Finally, I would like to thank our colleagues, Dr. Tala Al-Dabbous from Ministry of Health, Kuwait, as well as Dr. Amna Al-Harrasi, head of Department in Palliative Medicine at Sultan Kubo's Comprehensive Cancer Care Center in Oman, for participating and equally helping in this research as well. See you there for amazing results of the study. Thank you, once again.
