How long does it take?
The recording process takes most people

but that depends on how many practice recordings you do.
There's nothing to install, and
there are only three questions.
Do I need to install anything?
No.
You can record your responses right in your web browser, from your smartphone, your computer, or your tablet. There's no app to install and nothing to download.
Can I redo my recordings?
Yes.
You can record, replay, and re-record all video responses as many times as you like.
You donât have to submit anything until you are 100% comfortable with it.
How will you use my recordings?
We may publish your video responses in branded videos.
These videos may be embedded on the Mezaelle website and shared via social media.

Recording Tips

You can re-record.
If you're not happy with your recording, you can simply redo it. You can do this as many times as you like, and none of your outtakes will be saved.

Be yourself.
Act natural and friendly. It doesnât have to be perfect – the key is to be authentic.

Pick a quiet and well-lit place.
Ideally, you want lots of natural light or alternatively overhead lighting. Avoid having windows or a light source in the background since that will create glare.

Eye contact.
Make eye contact with the camera and try to avoid looking down. It's much better to speak off the cuff than to read your response from prepared notes.

Background.
Try to choose a background that is interesting. E.g. avoid plain white walls. A piece of art or some pattern is nice or a view of your office, home, or yard.
Your Info
After you finish recording, we ask for a few details like your name and email address.
Here's why:
- So we can verify the authenticity of your response.
- So we can credit you in any published videos. You can just enter your first name or first name + last initial if you don't want your full name used.
- So we can find your data if for some reason you need us to delete it.
We'll never share your email
We ask for your email only for the reasons above. We will never share it, publish it, or spam you.
You're In Control
You are the owner of your personal information and video submissions.

You Own Your Data
You are the owner of your video submissions and personal information.
By participating, you are granting Mezaelle and Vocal Video
permission to reproduce, edit, modify, and publish your submissions, but you

You Control Your Data
You can withdraw your consent to use any of your video submissions at any time in the future, and request for us to remove your personal information.
We Don't Sell Data
Vocal Video does not now, nor will it in the future, sell, rent or lease any respondent personal information to any third parties.
Our License
You are the owner of your video submissions. By participating, you grant Mezaelle and Vocal Video revocable permission to reproduce, edit, modify, and publish your submissions.
Revoking Permission

Accurate Information
By participating, you warrant that you are who you say you are and are not attempting to misrepresent your identity or relationship to Mezaelle.
Acceptable Content
Respondentsâ opinions, comments and views are their own. Vocal Video shall not be liable for your views, comments or opinions and shall not be liable for any damages arising from your views, opinions or comments, including, but not limited to, knowing falsehoods or hate speech.
It is also prohibited to upload or submit any copyrighted recordings or content not owned by the respondent.
Personal Information
In the course of participating in our video surveys, we may ask for some personal information, such as your name, employer, location, and email address.
Personal information like this may also be added to the Vocal Video database by our customers (like Mezaelle). We only store this information so that we can:
- Properly attribute video submissions
- Distribute prizes/rewards to participants
- Invite the right people to participate in our customers' surveys
- Notify Vocal Video customers when their customers respond to their surveys
- Notify you (if you choose) when your video submissions are published by Mezaelle
Vocal Video does not now, nor will it in the future, sell, rent or lease any respondent personal information to any third parties.
GDPR
We at Vocal Video are committed to the principles inherent in the GDPR and particularly to the concepts of privacy by design, the right to be forgotten, consent, and a risk-based approach.
For respondents who are subject to the GDPR (such as EU residents), in most instances Vocal Video is considered a Processor of your data, while Mezaelle is the Data Controller.
