Ryan Allison: Our application process was extremely easy, especially compared to any of the other programs that we've applied for. It was very simple questions, very common sense answers, and it really is based in just trying to get money into the hands of the people who can use it to help build a foundation of leadership. The program overall was very user friendly and there was a lot of help along the way just by simply picking up the phone. We really encourage you to consider applying for 2025.
Joe Flick: The application for the Yvorra leadership scholarship is extremely simple. It's very straightforward and very accessible for any leader who wishes to apply. And while it is simple, I did feel a strong responsibility to make sure that I appropriately represented not only myself but my department and my goals in the short writing portions of the application.
Daniel Peterson: The process for applying for the scholarship was very simple. It's a matter of simply filling out an online form. I acquired 3 professional references, uploaded those, and submitted the application online. Very simple. So I highly recommend others to pursue an Yvorra Leadership Development Award in 2025. It was very easy.
Justin R. Lenker: I think the application process for this scholarship was actually rather easy. There was a lot of parts to it, but it wasn't that difficult. If you really put the time and effort in, you will accomplish it. It took me two times to get through it. In 2023 and then I reapplied in 24. It was a rather simple, simple application process and really just describes yourself and how you're going to influence people in the future, just like the people that they're, you're getting awarded for, the Chief Eversole Award, amazing influence in the hazmat world and will continue to be through his, foundation.
Jennifer Johnson: I found the application process to be very simple. As a matter of fact, we completed it in one day while we were at the chief's conference, found out about this opportunity, was able to rally the troops, get the appropriate Letters of recommendation and put together a proposal. It was very simple to apply. I didn't find it difficult at all.
Oliver Alkire : So I actually looked into it, got on their website, looked at what was required, and I thought it was a really great fit for me. So I went ahead and applied. I thought that actually the whole process was very, very easy. I reached out to my supervisors, some friends and also some folks in the community asking for letters of support. They wrote those, they submitted those with me, and along with the whole package scholarship, I submitted that.
Kendra Loney: it's a pretty easy process, and I would definitely recommend anybody in the fire and emergency services industry who believe that they fit the qualifications to apply for these scholarships and awards.
