Oliver Alkire : After many years of thinking about how I wanted to go back to school or what school or what, program I wanted to go back to, I was very fortunate to actually be accepted into the public safety administration program at Newman University. However, it was such a surprise to me at the skyrocketing costs of going back to school and as a senior learner, I was also shocked by the extravagant costs of that. So this will certainly help offset those costs. It will assist me and my family. by minimizing my costs, it will also help me with my, further education to the Maryland Department of State Police. So all of those costs, and that scholarship will certainly benefit me and the department as a whole.
