Joe Flick: Hi, I'm Joe Flick. I'm currently a fire lieutenant for the City of Milwaukee Fire Department.
Joe Flick: I'm proud to say that I have been awarded the James G. Yvorra scholarship for fire and emergency Service responders.
Joe Flick: The Yvorra scholarship is going to be instrumental in supporting my growth as a leader, as a husband and a father, and also to help me grow my skill set as a Milwaukee firefighter and most importantly as a public servant. I'm currently finishing my bachelor's degree in fire and emergency response management at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, and it is my hope to continue this education path for myself and pursue a master's of public administration at OshKosh as well with an emphasis on fire and emergency administration management. Without the support of this scholarship, none of these goals would be realized.
