An event designed for just for me...what can it be?!
Jane Ryan: Hi, everyone. It's Jane here, Operations Director. just giving you a little bit of an information update about our conference this year, which we're really excited about. I'm creating this video today just to let you know a little bit about the content. What we're planning to have for you when you come along.
What's it all about?!
Jane Ryan: So you'll probably be interested to know who we've got talking at conference this year and what our theme is, our theme is around Automation. and the changes in the finance function and in our workplaces. We all know that automation is coming lots of apps out there are taking over some of the more boring and menial tasks that we've been doing in bookkeeping and obviously the upsurgence of AI this year with Chat GPT and that kind of thing, we've got four great speakers coming to talk to us all about these kind of issues that can be raised around automation. So Mark Robb, who's a really great motivational speaker will be coming to talk to us. We've also got Begbies Traynor coming to talk to us and ApprovalMax, one of the apps in the workspace.
Sounds interesting, but what else will I get out of attending?
Jane Ryan: As well as having these great speakers. We're going to be doing some technical sessions, some work together sessions. Looking at how we can improve the way that we do things at YRH and the best practice that we can offer out to our clients. You will also be gaining CPD points. So any of you that are members of regulatory accountancy bodies like I am, You'll be gaining 4 to 5 CPD points by attending. You'll also get a chance to catch up with your colleagues and we know from feedback from previous conferences. that this is one of the big plus points. As we know, you come to YRH because you don't want to work in a silo, you don't want to work just on your own. and this is where you can get to feel how big a community you are actually part of, get to know and talk some of your colleagues that maybe are in other regions that you don't see at your regional team meetings and pick up hints and tips and tricks that will help you when you're actually out there working with your YRH clients. Overall, it should be a really exciting event. We put this on for you guys. We try to make the content really relevant and helpful for you and I really hope that we get to see you there.
