Why should people attend this year's annual conference?
Jennifer Raines: You should come to conference this year, not because I'm telling you you have to, but from the feedback that we've had from other principals in previous years, not just the face to face conferences, but also the online conferences. This is a real opportunity for us to get together and build some of those connections. You know, one of the reasons that you guys tell us you want to come and join YRH is to be with like minded people, and this is your opportunity to do that. The other key reason for coming is we have to keep our skills relevant. Our technical skills, definitely our app and technology skills, for sure. Because you know, AI is coming. We need to embrace that and learn about the apps that are out in the market place. And we also need to build our softer skills. How do we communicate with clients? How do we manage expectations? How do we look after ourselves in these incredibly volatile and changing times? I'm really looking forward to seeing you all there
What are the benefits of people attending the YRH annual conference?
Jennifer Raines: This is what other principals, just like you have told us of the benefits that they get from coming to conference. The first thing is they love the opportunity to reconnect with like minded people and the opportunity to network and share stories, and have that human interaction that is so missing currently. The second highest reason benefit that people get from coming to conference is being able to develop our skill sets so that we can stay relevant in the market and also at the front of our market. Those people that don't invest in their knowledge quickly, uh, don't become required anymore. Not in YRH, but just in the market generally. So come along and learn some stuff, bring your best self, learn how to be your best self and, uh, come and spend some time with people. It's time well invested.
What are you most looking forward to about this year's in-person conference?
Jennifer Raines: The thing that I'm personally looking forward to a conference this year is reconnecting with everybody that is in our exclusive club. So we're really looking forward to seeing you there. We're going to have a great day.
