Michael Rogers: Hi, My name's Michael Rogers and I am the Regional Partner for London South.
What do you do?
Michael Rogers: My role as Regional Partner is to manage a portfolio of clients in the London South region that involves understanding the business, understanding where we can add the most value, and putting the right person in for the right amount of time to assist as the client needs. I also work to grow the London South region, which involves adding any new clients that could be through various different channels for various different reasons, mainly businesses who are wanting to grow and just professionalise that finance function to get them to the next stage.
Who are your clients?
Michael Rogers: We work across various different industries. Any SME business turning over £2 million plus could be a potential client. Common industries include technology, marketing, law firms. We work with a few charities, for example, but really any SME business who's looking to professionalise the finance function we can potentially work with.
Why are you passionate about your work?
Michael Rogers: For me, it's about finding the right solutions. It's quite often we speak to frustrated business owners who are spending too much time and energy in the wrong areas. So to be able to pick that area up for them so they don't have to to worry about it anymore, it gives them the visibility and time to be able to progress and grow the company.
What makes you different? Anything else you'd like to add?
Michael Rogers: I don't know if it necessarily makes me different, but I do pay close attention to detail. So I do really want to understand a person's business. I want to understand where I can add the most value, and I want to understand the issues that they're facing so that I can find the best solution for them.
