Speaker: Sarah Hauslein, Clinical Pharmacist, Educator
What made you choose this menopause coaching diploma instead of other options?
Sarah Hauslein: I was looking for a career switch and looking in the women's health realm, um, professionally, I am in healthcare and I would like to do something to help others go through the menopausal transition and be there as support. I was looking on All my social medias, LinkedIn came up with Lauren's information for the women of a certain stage, and I saw that there was a 3 day info sessions that I could attend, so I did that and continued to research different options, um, programs, coaching, and I booked a call with Lauren and I had that conversation with her. I actually talked with her twice, um, before signing on to the diploma program. Um, but I really liked her genuineness, her openness and honesty of what the program entailed. There were experts that would come in and talk to us. It was an 18 week program that had coaching practice, so it had all the components that I was looking for, um. And Practice with other. Women to help coach, um, and being in live sessions was really important to me.
What specific challenge or uncertainty did you have before enrolling, and how has the training resolved that?
Sarah Hauslein: I think the biggest challenge for me was the concept of coaching. I am an educator. I'm a healthcare provider. Um, I'm used to giving recommendations and educating on different topics. And for me, the concept of coaching was an initial challenge. I personally have been coached twice, so I had a little bit of an idea of what to experience, um, what to expect, and The program allowed us to train and to work on our coaching skills. Um, so I think the, the program itself has helped, uh, resolve those challenges that I had. Um, another personal challenge for me was having gone through early menopause. And already experiencing things that I knew other women would be experiencing. I didn't know how that would help me personally, um, but in the end, the program really has helped me personally as well, and made some differences that I know that I can continue to work on for myself and advocate and help others.
How has this diploma changed your confidence, career, or business results so far?
Sarah Hauslein: I believe this diploma course has given me the tools, the resources, the guidance I've needed to help increase my confidence and to look towards the future for potential um business opportunities, and I have a lot of ideas that I would like to hopefully get into practice at some point. Um. So I have the resources and the the the guidance from this program for that capability. So we shall see.
What surprised you most about the experience?
Sarah Hauslein: What surprised me the most about this experience was the connection with Within our group is how we all connected on different levels, um, ultimately from all parts of the world, but we have the same commonality and to not feel alone on this journey, to have that support from each other. Through the program and after the program, um, knowing that I can reach out to somebody and we shared that same connection, that same experience, and we can advocate and help each other going forward. I think that was the most surprising. And just how much little changes can can ultimately make a big change in the end and how many people we can actually help from a menopause coaching standpoint and women going through individuals going through the transition um for menopausal symptoms, how we can help them. On their journey.
Who would you recommend this diploma to, and why?
Sarah Hauslein: I would recommend this diploma to anyone that's interested in working in the women's health realm for someone who wants to help others transition from the perimenopausal to menopausal years and give them that support that that's needed. Um. We have so many individuals going through these transitions in the work world, the they leave their jobs because of certain symptoms, they can't function and they think they're going crazy or something's really wrong. And to have someone to advocate and to be there for these individuals is really important to me and to a lot of us who have done this diploma. So if that resonates with you, that's why I would say to choose this diploma. Um. As well as it is a. Very authentic, well thought out diploma that I would recommend to anyone that's looking for a specific menopause coaching um certification.
