What made you choose this menopause coaching diploma instead of other options?

Sam Mancey: For me, the um CPD certification that uh that um comes with uh the women of a certain stage, a diploma is really important because um I want to make sure I have the right credentials, uh, in order to add to my existing coaching qualifications, um, for the betterment of my business and ultimately, um, for the clients. So. I liked the structure, uh, I liked the fact that there was, um, expert speakers, so we weren't

Sam Mancey: all. Uh, but it's great to hear, um, diversity of experience, uh, and, uh, breadth of understanding coming in to, um, us as, as delegates. Uh, and also I like the, um, practical application of actually. Um, being taken through the menopause plan yourself and then taking your, um, fellow, um, delegates through the menopause plan as part of that certification, so, um, it was chunky and felt very valid.

What specific challenge or uncertainty did you have before enrolling, and how has the training resolved that?

Sam Mancey: My, um, biggest concern, I guess, before, um, signing on the dotted line, um, was that I was already, um, an existing coach. I'm a um accredited certified coach with the International Coaching Federation, so for me, I just needed to understand that there was going to be sufficient gain um for me from the programme before um I. I signed up, um, and what was really useful was that Lauren makes herself, um, very accessible, so I was able to schedule in a 1 to 1 call and was very honest and open with, um, Lauren in terms of what my concerns were over value for money, and, um, equally, er, Lauren was quite clear in um what, what I would um gain in return, which um obviously allied my fears, hence why I I signed up.

How has this diploma changed your confidence, career, or business results so far?

Sam Mancey: Yeah, well, becoming a, um, certified, uh, menopause coach and being able to deliver the, um, the menopause plan, uh, has really shifted my business. Um, in fact, uh, it's led me to, to have what I call my purposeful pivot, um, because actually working, um, to support women struggling with their menopause transition is, um, so satisfying and such great work, uh, that I feel privileged to do it. And it's interesting because it was some of my other clients that led me to think that I wanted to do and understand more about menopause, putting together their gender and their certain stage of life, and some of the things that was going on for them with these brilliant businesswomen who were really suffering with a, a, a, a lack of confidence as well as some other, um, sort of more, more physical and and psychological symptoms. So that's what led me to look for the qualification. So then when I am now qualified to do the work, the difference that it can make, um, is quite, is quite incredible. So it's made me more determined than ever to be able to support, um, women, um, in this way. And not just women, businesses, uh, and, and the whole, um, ecosystem, isn't it, uh. Happier women, happier partners, happier businesses, you know, it's that kind of virtuous circle that that um all gets to benefit. So, um, yeah, it really has changed, um, the direction of my career, er, and my confidence and, and my business, absolutely.

What surprised you most about the experience?

Sam Mancey: I guess I was most surprised about how much I was able to take away from it for myself. Um, existing coach and that sort of, that sort of stuff. But, uh, uh, the information, uh, and the education that you get is, is terrific. And then it's how you can apply, um, so many parts of that, especially the stuff around lifestyle, around, uh, hormones. It, it doesn't matter that you might not be struggling with your menopause. There's still so much more you can take that just improves things. I cut out caffeine, not because I was having issues with. Um, headaches or anything like that, but because it made no difference when I stopped taking it. So why would I continue doing something that made no difference if I knew that that was just adding to what my body needed to process? Well, it didn't bother me one way or the other. So it's, it's all these little things and it just doesn't apply, um, for females. It works for men as well, understanding their hormones. So, um, that, that has been really, um, enlightening, um, for me, definitely.

Who would you recommend this diploma to, and why?

Sam Mancey: I think it's anybody who has a genuine interest in wanting to support. Uh, women support menopause awareness or to improve, um, workplace, uh, experiences. Um, I think where you've got a, a, a genuine interest in wanting to support others, there's no reason why you wouldn't want to add this diploma, this qualification, um, because they, like I said, there's so much that you can take away from it in, in, um, every, every different situation. Um, so, um, yeah, if you're interested, if it. If it appeals, if it talks out to you, then um I would say, um, have a 1 to 1 with Lauren and understand it and and and do.
