Speaker: Helen Whiteley, School Librarian , Allerton C of E Primary School

Helen Whiteley: My confidence has grown tenfold since starting this diploma. I've gone from somebody that was self-doubting to somebody else that is full of confidence and ready to support others.

What made you choose this menopause coaching diploma instead of other options?

Helen Whiteley: Once I'd made the decision that I wanted to help support others that were, um, transiting through the menopause and beyond, um, it was easy really. I, I knew that I had to undertake some formal, um, training. And, uh, increase my knowledge and obtain a new skill set. But how? So I reached out to, um, a friend of mine that I knew had recently undertaken a coaching diploma. And she told me all about this diploma that she'd done. And I thought, wow, this sounds really, really good. So I had a look, and lo and behold, it was Lauren's website. And I went on and I thought, This is amazing. I thought it was fully comprehensive, and what I liked about the course was that it was live. It was weekly. There were guest speakers. I could interact with others on my course. It wasn't just watching a bunch of videos, which just really didn't appeal to me. So I thought this is great. This is the one. There's no reason to look any further. So I didn't.

What specific challenge or uncertainty did you have before enrolling, and how has the training resolved that?

Helen Whiteley: I think the biggest challenge that I faced and had to overcome was that inner critic telling me I couldn't do this. I couldn't learn new things. And the reason for the self doubt was that it had been a long, long time since I'd done any formal learning. And I was really unsure as to whether I could still do that. Could I learn new things? Well, I turned up for that first week and the 2nd week, and do you know. A little bit of confidence started filtering into my system. And a month went by, and I felt really good about myself, and I felt that, actually, do you know what? I can do this. I can learn. I can retain this information, and I can use it to help others. So that was my biggest challenge, and the fact that Lauren kept on saying, believe in the process. And I started to believe, started to believe in that process, and I started to believe in me.

How has this diploma changed your confidence, career, or business results so far?

Helen Whiteley: My confidence has grown tenfold since starting this diploma. I've gone from somebody that was self-doubting to somebody else that is full of confidence and ready to support others. I'm gonna do this by starting the conversation about the menopause in my own workplace and hopefully help others if and when they need it. But I'm not gonna stop there. I'm gonna go on and I'm gonna help others wherever may it be. The future is bright and I'm so excited for it.

What surprised you most about the experience?

Helen Whiteley: What surprised me most was actually how much I enjoyed the course. I mean, I did think I'd enjoy it, obviously, but I really looked forward to every week and was excited for it, logging on and listening to the guest speaker, or to Lauren, or interacting with my cohort. Actually, all of that. And that really surprised me. That and um how much more I wanted to put into this and to read up and do my own research and talk to others about it. It was great. And that's what I actually loved and that's what surprised me most.

Who would you recommend this diploma to, and why?

Helen Whiteley: I would recommend this course to anyone that is even remotely thinking about looking how best to support other people as they navigate their way through the menopause. The course is fully comprehensive. It's packed full of information. And with the resources as well that you can access during, as well as after the course completion is fantastic. And then of course there's Lauren. Lauren's experience, her knowledge and her support is invaluable. I believe there is no better course. So if this is something that you're looking into, I would say just do it. Sign up now.
