Speaker: Frances Little, Operational Risk Manager, Allianz
What made you choose this menopause coaching diploma instead of other options?
Frances Little: What made me choose this menopausal coaching course instead of other options? Well, to be fair, I didn't find the course. My co-colleague Kate found the course. Kate and I both co-lead a menopausal group which we support ladies through their menopausal journeys, and both of us felt we wanted to offer more than just a support network, and the coaching option was a great option for both of us.
What specific challenge or uncertainty did you have before enrolling, and how has the training resolved that?
Frances Little: My challenge and uncertainty before enrolling in the course was how could I support my work colleagues better in their perimenopausal and post menopausal journeys. What the training has done is it's given me tools in my toolkit. To then offer a coaching opportunity to walk our colleagues through to help them better understand their own journey and actually have a direction and actually keep their career and progress in their work.
How has this diploma changed your confidence, career, or business results so far?
Frances Little: The diploma has changed my confidence levels quite significantly. In the past, I could always share my menopausal journey. However, I didn't quite have the confidence on how to better support others. What the course has done is it's helped me understand how I can support others and really help them achieve what they can achieve. So that's really exciting. So how I plan to do this in my career is I co-lead on a menopausal group, and it's really sharing my coaching skills with the group and to help other ladies through their journeys. And then it has also given me opportunities for the future.
What surprised you most about the experience?
Frances Little: What surprised me most about the course was the multinational attendees. It was amazing we had people from Australia, America, the Caribbean, and it was great to work with people in different countries with different backgrounds, and we had people who were professional coaches and people like me who have. never coached before in their life. And what it gave you was a real depth of experience and real camaraderie and we worked together as a group and we actually support each other as well. So that really surprised me was how I've now got a really nice support network as well as a group of friends.
Who would you recommend this diploma to, and why?
Frances Little: I would recommend this diploma to anyone who wants to learn more about the menopause and who wants to support others. This gives you the great opportunity to get an in-depth understanding of menopause through different experts and actually give you. the tools to really help and support others and even coaching my practise clients, it's so rewarding. So if you want to learn something that you can give back and actually see some real results, this will be the course for you.
