Caroline Peterson: which didn't appeal to me as much. The fact that we coached clients during the actual course was also a huge bonus, and we also got to experience being coached through the menopause plan and also coaching the menopause plan.
What made you choose this menopause coaching diploma instead of other options?
Caroline Peterson: I had set up a menopause support group in the workplace, and the work for me had been transformational, and I knew I wanted to work in the menopause space full-time. I just wasn't sure how to go about it. I looked at all the courses on offer, and the women of the certain stage, diploma, over 18 weeks just stood out as the best course available. It was because it was live training every Friday with a cohort. And the alternatives were very much downloadable information that you would have to solo study your way through. So the course just really appealed to me, and it has exceeded my expectations. The fact that we coached clients through the menopause plan during the course was a huge selling point too.
Caroline Peterson: I had set up a menopause support group at work, and the work had been so transformational for me that I knew I wanted to work in the menopause space full time. I needed to find a way to be trained to do this, so I was looking for a professional course, and women of a certain stage just stood out for me because it was over 18 weeks long. It was taught live, and it had a cohort. And I absolutely loved this. The other courses offered more downloadable information that you would have to solo study through, which didn't appeal to me as much. What specific challenge or uncertainty did you have before enrolling, and how has the training resolved that?
Caroline Peterson: I was so determined to make this career change, I didn't really have any issues or concerns before I started the course. But the fact that we were trained by British Menopause Society accredited doctors and clinical specialists really boosted my confidence. We have already been able to add those people to our contacts and are able to reach out to them if we need any help or advice, and this is a huge bonus.
How has this diploma changed your confidence, career, or business results so far?
Caroline Peterson: Weeks of training, I was not wondering what next. I had the menopause plan, which I knew how to deliver to clients. I had the 90 day plan, which we created towards the end of the course so that we knew how to develop our business over the 1st 90 days. And also 12 months' support from Lauren, who is so professional and knowledgeable and approachable that I know that these 3 things are really going to make a huge difference to how I develop my business.
What surprised you most about the experience?
Caroline Peterson: The added bonus of having such a wonderful cohort of trainees to experience this with a group of super talented, inspirational ladies from all over the world with the shared passion of wanting to make a difference. We are all still in touch and help and support each other every day, which is wonderful.
Who would you recommend this diploma to, and why?
Caroline Peterson: Anyone who is passionate about wanting to help women during perimenopause and menopause in life and in the workplace would benefit from doing the course, and the more they put into the course, contributing to the live sessions and doing background reading, the more they will benefit.
