Why are Womanspace Response Team Advocates essential?
Officer Elisha Tard & Detective Martin Krzywicki: Hi, my name is Officer Tard and I'm a police officer with the Princeton University Police Department. And my name is Detective Marty Krzywicki. I'm a police officer with Princeton University. And as a Detective, I have investigated several cases of sexual assault and domestic violence. I believe that Womanspace Advocates help law enforcement by talking with the victims and preparing them for the difficult questions that we have. And we must ask in my experience, the advocates to often establish a relationship with the victims that will last more than that day or more than an hour to talk with the victims. And I know the victims really appreciate Advocates' time and I also really appreciate your time. Thank you.
