Rosalie Daniels '13: I will always feel lucky to have had Mrs Holmes as a theater teacher in high school. She was endlessly patient with us as we tried on different personalities and identities and battled teenage angst and self consciousness. And she taught us to practice that same patience and show that same support to our peers. She did not abide divas. And from her, we all learned that theater is a team sport, big part or small. It was an honor to be on her team. She always knew the right role for us even if we weren't always sure about it at first. I remember when I was cast as Nicky's right hand in Avenue Q. I was a little skeptical, but it ended up being one of my favorite roles and Nicky's left hand became a really great friend. It was an experience I'll always be grateful for. I'm grateful to Mrs Holmes for many things, for my best high school memories, for some of the core pieces of who I am today that I think originated somewhere in the Falk Auditorium. Thank you Mrs Holmes. And I wish you the absolute best retirement
