Melinda Moses: My name is Melinda Moses, and I live in Huntington, West Virginia. I'm here to tell you my story.

Melinda Moses: I'm here to tell you my story. I became disabled back in 2006. I was able to work at one time, and now I'm not. And without these essential programs, I would not have access to what's needed to keep my body functioning. You see, people on limited income cannot afford their healthcare. That's why West Virginia Medicaid is essential. Without that, I would not be able to have access to my doctor's, to medications, I would not have access to medical care at all, actually, because I'm on limited income. We need to save our Medicaid. Because people do not have the money to even pay a doctor bill. These people need it. We need to save it, to keep ourselves and our families healthy. Legislators need to live on the limited income, such as people like myself do to see how it feels.

196,450 West Virginians are expected to lose Medicaid coverage thanks to #CapitoCare

Medicaid matters.
