Sandra Steiner Ball: Hi, I'm Sandra Steiner Ball. And I'd like to share with you a series of Lenten prayers that begin this week.
Sandra Steiner Ball: During this season of Lent, I am going to share some prayers along with members of my lead team on Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays. Now who is my lead team. It's a group of leaders within the West Virginia conference that I meet with every 6 to 8 weeks to pray together, to worship together, to hold ourselves one accountable to one another for our spiritual walk with Jesus. And we take time to talk about the mission and ministry of Christ in the West Virginia Conference. Part of our covenant with one another. And it's a written covenant is that we pray for the churches of the West Virginia Conference. We pray for the clergy and the laity, and we also pray for the mission and ministry of Christ across our nation and around the world. And during this lantern period, we have decided that we want to share our prayers with you. So I along with my lead team members and some other uh conference leaders will be sharing Monday, Wednesday and Friday. And so I hope that you will join us in this Lenten, this Lenten journey and that you will seek to grow deeper in prayer with God, with Christ, with one another. So that we might be the best body of Christ that we can be to share God's hope, light and love for the world.
