Joe Kenaston: Hi, I'm Joe Kennison. I'm pastor of Forest Burdett Memorial, United Methodist Church in Hurricane in the Nine Rivers District. And I'm standing in front of our children's playground and in a few minutes, it will be filled with dozens of Children playing and laughing and experiencing the joy of being outside. We remember as United Methodists in the West Virginia conference that Jesus said, let the Children come unto me. Let us pray for our Children. Oh Lord, our God, we thank you for the gift of Children. The Children that will be on the playground, the Children will be riding school buses, those will be walking home, the Children will be in after school. We pray for the Children that are hungry, the Children that are well fed. We pray that as a we may reach out and, and help them empower those Children to have what they need to live, to grow, to laugh and to love and to know that Jesus cares for them and welcomes them into his embrace. Amen. Amen.
