Jamion Wolford: Hello, I am Jamion Wolford, the West Virginia United Methodist conference treasurer and benefit officer and serve on the bishop's lead team. My wife Tarin and I and our two daughters live in the Kenna area and worship at Calvary United Methodist Church in Ripley.

Jamion Wolford: In the last few days, I have been feeling a need for prayers of patience. And this has been reinforced multiple times uh through God's word to me. And especially in the evening, last night, as we were reading our children's devotions before they go to bed, that we were hearing of God's great gift of eternal life and how that can be drawn upon to enable us to have patience. And then again, this morning, even in my devotions hearing of the Israelites and how they lost patience and the need for us to have a, a heart for God's plan and a willingness to listen and wait on him. So this morning, I'd like to lead us in a prayer of patience if you'll join me, dear Lord, thank you for always keeping your promises and for the gift of eternal life through your son Jesus Christ. We are grateful for your perfect plan. Please help us not grow impatient and revert to our own desires and will so that we may reflect your love to everyone with whom we interact. And so we can be your servants helping to fulfill your plan and your time. Holy Spirit please fill us with an attitude of patience this day and in Jesus holy name, I pray. Amen. Thank you.
