Jaden Banks: My name is Jaden Banks and I go to Pinole Valley High School.
Please state which college you will attend and what you will major in.
Jaden Banks: I am currently committed to Virginia State University in Petersburg and I'll be majoring in electrical and electronic engineering.
What is one thing you are most proud of accomplishing this past year?
Jaden Banks: One thing I can say that I really accomplished was probably getting into all the schools and finally committing to a school really. That was probably one of my biggest accomplishments, but there's plenty of other ones like throughout sports, just in school, in general. I really accomplished the real high school experience this year.
What are you most looking forward to next year in college?
Jaden Banks: Well, one thing I'm looking forward to in college will probably be, probably just getting used to the college life. I know high school and college is real different. So I just wanna get, like, used to it.
How does this scholarship help you progress towards your academic goals?
Jaden Banks: This scholarship helped me progress in my academic career in many ways. Well, it gives me enough to afford college outside of California. And it gives me a chance to go to my dream school because I was like in Virginia State after visiting this year. So it really helped me actually go to the school I wanted to go to.
Is there anything you want to say to your scholarship donor and/or the Ed Fund?
Jaden Banks: One thing I'd like to say, well, one, high! And two, Thank you! And three will probably be just in general Thank you for giving me this opportunity to use your money for my academic success. I won't waste it. So I'll make sure I use it to my full extent and power to help me strive in my academic major and everything else I need for college.
