Speaker: Joe Galluzzo
Introduce yourself and tell us about your co-op this semester.
Joe Galluzzo: Hey, how's it going? My name is Joe Gazzo. I'm in Junior Wentworth on my club semester. I'm working for a company right now called Cranshaw Construction on my co-op. I've been working with the project management team and we've been working on a big life science building in Watertown Massachusetts.
While on co-op, what is a project that you've been a part of that has inspired you?
Joe Galluzzo: So, while I've been on co-op, I've been working on a big life science building in Watertown. This has been really good for me and my knowledge in the construction industry because not only do I get to see things that we've been learning in class actually come into play, but it's also good to see what I want to do and what I know that I don't want to do for the future.
What have you learned that you will use in your career?
Joe Galluzzo: I've learned a lot while being on co-op. Uh One thing I can say that I've learned, which has really benefited me is communication. Uh not only communication with subcontractors, but being able to send emails confidently, being able to talk to my boss and then people around me making sure that they know my goals and I know what their goals are. And it's very important.
