Speaker: Gloria Solovey
Introduce yourself and tell us about your co-op this semester.
Gloria Solovey: Hi, my name is Gloria Solve. And as a software engineer at insight, I have been given a diverse span of responsibilities throughout my time. Here, I have been supported by a team with vast roles including front to back and developers and architects. With them, I learned new framework and implemented my knowledge by creating a robust with the foundation of enterprise level code. On top of the software skills I acquired, I learned to communicate each phase's expectations and goals to nontechnical clients further deepening my understanding and experiences at a broader level. While on co-op, what is a project that you've been a part of that has inspired you?
Gloria Solovey: The project that inspired me during this co-op was the intra meeting app that I've been working on with my coworker. I had a lot of fun planning, developing, just thinking of ways to prevent users from breaking my application. And that has been so much fun and fulfilling for me.
What have you learned that you will use in your career?
Gloria Solovey: I learned how to talk to non-technical clients and create a web application out of their ideas.
