Ezzat Haboub: The biggest thing I've learned so far at my co op, and the way that I like to put it is that authenticity is encouraged and rewarded.

Introduce yourself and tell us about your co-op this semester.

Ezzat Haboub: Hi, I'm Ezzat Haboub. I'm a junior in computer information systems at Wentworth. This is my first mandatory co op, and it's at N Label Global Services, which is a software company where I'm mainly helping the sales team as a sales and marketing collateral intern. And what that means is I do a little bit of designing flyers and making videos as well to promote our product. But the main thing that I wanted to get out of it, and what I'm doing mostly is outbound calling. Basically cold calling, ah, new prospects to generate new clients.

While on co-op, what is a project that you've been a part of that has inspired you?

Ezzat Haboub: My favorite thing so far at my co op is a project where we have to close a very big client. It takes effort of many different roles, different people I work with, such as IT, the operations team, and the sales team like I'm helping, and it really calls for us to come into meetings, communicate very well on how we're gonna win the deal. And I really think that every time we get into those meetings, I learn something new, and it really motivates me a lot to just keep going and keep getting more out of this that I can.

What have you learned that you will use in your career?

Ezzat Haboub: The biggest thing I've learned so far at my co op, and the way that I like to put it is that authenticity is encouraged and rewarded. So coming up with new ideas, volunteering yourself for tasks, and just being able to speak what's on your mind and be able to ask questions that's very important, and being able to learn from that as well, um, but also bringing something new to the table for a recommendation from you to them, and they can take it and they're impressed by that.
