Bilal Solwa: My journey with Wall Street started as a customer, desperate to secure finance for an investment property back home in Brisbane. During COVID, I first approached my bank of over 15 years for finance except I didn't fit the narrow definitions and policy criteria. I then turned to reputable brokers who to be Frank were pretty clueless with how to treat us expatriates as a as as a last resort and via a strong recommendation. Ok, I'm gonna redo that right as the last resort and by a strong recommendation I engaged with from Wall Street was patient, knowledgeable and extremely professional. It was pivotal in engaging suitable lenders and without much hassle. I was quickly able to secure finance successfully. Beyond that, Abdela and his team provided investment intel rental insights and demographic data to ensure my investment was aimed at the correct geographical locations and at the optimal price.
