Speaker: Shajuana Sellers , Director of Secondary Education
Please introduce yourself and tell why you chose to attend WE LEAD?
Shajuana Sellers : Thank you so much, Doctor Cox for this opportunity. I want to say that I really enjoyed my, we lead experience. The conference that I attended was in Greensboro. I had the opportunity to connect with women from all over the state and in different fields, it was empowering and it was filled with positivity. I really enjoy the opportunity and I am still in contact with some of the women that I met on that day. I have also participated in some of your Zooms where you did monthly meetings. And I just want to say I appreciate you for your leadership in this field and your consistency in empowering women. Thank you so much, uh many blessings to you and to anyone considering coming to the conference or any conference that is offered by, we lead. Definitely, I suggested 10 out of 10.
What was one of the most impactful takeaways for you?
Shajuana Sellers : One of the most impactful takeaways from the we lead conference was the energy and the confidence in the room. And by being amongst such greatness in women and education, it boosted my confidence and allowed me to be more courageous in my position.
What makes this event different from others you’ve attended in the past?
Shajuana Sellers : What made this conference like any, unlike any other conference is that it was filled with like minded women.
