What is the most valuable advice you received from a session, or one new thing you learned?
Kenny: Something valuable that I've learned from these sessions is that a lot of like long time wave barriers have like, talked about how it's really important to build your network and being able to make connections both like socially from like meeting people and getting along with coworkers, but also like professionally from like working with teams together.
How have the Building Your Home sessions helped you transition to working at Wayfair?
Kenny: Well, I think an example of how these sessions have helped. I think, in like the Sips and Snacks session, I was able to meet a lot of other new hires like myself that were like part of my team. And then we could just talk about like, how onboarding was going, just like, generally connecting. I got to know like what their roles were and I got to see like how, like what they worked on connected with what I was working on and it was pretty cool to see how Wayfair like came together as like a whole and generally, like, meeting people is pretty great.
What session had the biggest impact on you, and why?
Kenny: Uh I definitely think that I really enjoyed the coffee with co founder Steve. Uh because I don't know, I really liked like talking and uh he was pretty cool to be able to listen to like one of like the big founders. He talked about his, like his time at Wayfair and building up his company and he has just like a lot of great insights and a lot of advice for New Howard new hires. So, and there was also the opportunity to ask questions afterwards and he would answer, which was pretty cool.
