Why are testimonial videos important to your business?

Sarah Wong: Testimonial videos are such an important part of marketing moving forward. In an age where influencers are such a big part of a marketing plan for a business or for a product. Having that social proof and the ability to have that informational social influence is really a key part of getting your brand and your business front and center in front of a new generation that really consumes marketing in a very different way. Social proof is the new word of mouth.


How are you using Vocal Video?

Sarah Wong: We're using Vocal Video to collect testimonials from our customers to put up on our new marketing page. This has been a really great experience by leveraging the system because it really allows for the authenticity to really be broadcasted to a larger audience by allowing those end users that really enjoy your product to really speak to other people that are in the same boat. So either people within similar departments or of similar industries that can really speak to why a product is so useful to them. And in our case, that is really, really effective for our marketing moving forward.


If you had to describe Vocal Video in a couple of sentences, what would you say?

Sarah Wong: Vocal Video is a system that facilitates social proof in a really easy and straightforward way that's accessible to a really large audience.


How do you use testimonial videos from Vocal Video?

Sarah Wong: We leverage our testimonial videos from Vocal Video in a number of different ways. On one hand, internally. It's really effective for being able to put a face to the customers that you interact with on a daily basis, and to help really understand what it is that they think about your product in a real, very tangible way. In terms of external marketing, it's also really effective for those exact same reasons. It helps to humanize your brand. It puts it in the hands of real people who can relate to whoever is actually providing that testimonial, either based on their industry or based on the company that they work for. If it is somewhat relatable to you, then it definitely makes that purchase experience a lot easier because you start to be able to see yourself in their shoes. So in that sense, it's extremely effective for creating social media campaigns and marketing your product.


Would you recommend others try Vocal Video? Why?

Sarah Wong: I would absolutely recommend that others try Vocal Video. It's so easy to use. It is very straightforward, and it takes a lot of the guesswork out of video editing, which is something that's not necessarily a strength that all of us are blessed with. And aside from that, the team is so fantastic to work with. They're a really wonderful team that really cares about their product and about making your experience as well rounded as possible.
