Speakers: MacKenna Anovick, Marketing Manager, Optimizely
MacKenna Anovick: I would describe Vocal Video as a simple way to showcase a community. Video testimonials are a great way for any company to illustrate all the hard work they're putting in, while also making it personable. Vocal Video is great at helping support this goal.
How does your organization use testimonial videos?
MacKenna Anovick: At Optimizely it is very important to us to showcase our employees, whether this be internally on our all hands calls or externally on our social media accounts, we love to showcase our company culture through our employees, and Vocal Video helps support these projects.
What challenges did you have with creating video testimonials before Vocal Video?
MacKenna Anovick: Using Vocal Video has helped condense the process of collecting videos and increase participation in our testimonials. It would take a lot more work for employees to submit videos. Recording on their device, adding it to a folder we created, naming their file. Confusing directions we gave. The process was way too complex. Vocal Video makes it simple on the front and back end of projects.
What’s the ROI of video testimonials for your organization, and how do you measure it?
MacKenna Anovick: By using our employee testimonials externally on our social channels, we see a return on investment with talent acquisition. We showcase our culture firsthand via the people who work at Optimizely and we are able to recruit more individuals and grow our company.
Would you recommend others try Vocal Video? Why?
MacKenna Anovick: I 1,000% recommend Vocal Video to others. Anyone who partakes in any form of testimonials, whether it be employee, customer, partner testimonials, etc, it makes the process so much smoother for everyone involved.
