Speakers: Katie Gallo, Director - Field Enablement & Customer Advocacy
Katie Gallo: I would describe Vocal Video as a tool that facilitates the easy deployment, collection, editing and publishing of videos. The tool allows for companies to collect customer testimonials and then take them to market in a really compelling fashion.
How does Syndigo use testimonial videos?
Katie Gallo: At Syndigo, we use testimonial videos in a handful of ways, but our two primary ways are first to collect employee internal information. So for example, we had a commercial kickoff for our sales kickoff. earlier this year. We collected feedback on the event from different employees and their experience, what they learned, what maybe they would do differently and we're able to create a video to share across the entire organization with that feedback to really just create energy and continue to boost the culture. So we, we continue to use it for internal testimonials. And then another purpose that we use the testimonial videos for is for our advocacy program. So right now, we will send the prompts to different advocates or customers and clients and collect their feedback on the questions that we're asking, their experience with Syndigo and use those to inform different customer stories or testimonial quotes or even just give feedback internally to folks.
What challenges did you have with creating video testimonials before Vocal Video?
Katie Gallo: Prior to using Vocal Video, we had a good bit of challenges getting testimonial videos for a handful of reasons. But really the primary ones were the time investment it took to get a testimonial video. So we would have to find a mutually agreed upon calendar window that worked for both the person administering the questions and the person who would respond to the questions that could take a good bit of time, it could delay the process. And then it also required somebody to feel comfortable giving their testimonial live on a call as opposed to, you know, maybe some of the level of comfort it would take to get to do a couple tries or to get to do it on your own and really think about your answers ahead of time. So those were some of the challenges that we face before using Vocal Video.
What’s the ROI of video testimonials for your organization, and how do you measure it?
Katie Gallo: The ROI of video testimonials for our organization is directly correlated to in the ROI that we are able to recognize from our client success stories. We leverage these testimonial videos within customer success stories, within testimonials that our employees and our sales reps can use with their prospects and clients when they're trying to showcase to them the impact that our solution has had on a previous client and that impact that impact that that potential prospect or customer could recognize if they were to make that investment. So I don't know if we have great data today to give that information back out. As we look to measure the impact of our advocacy materials and continue to be more data driven, I fully expect that there will be a, a clear ROI of being able to leverage video testimonials and hearing from our clients directly.
Would you recommend others try Vocal Video? Why?
Katie Gallo: I would absolutely recommend that others try Vocal Video. It has been game changing for us in the way that we collect information from our customers. The way that we gather testimonials and their feedback, it makes it incredibly easy for them. It's hugely prescriptive. And then on our end, one thing that it's been really beneficial for is the of use to make edits and to compile the videos into one longer series and video. I do not have any skill sets in the video editing space. Vocal Video is really intuitive and it's made it really easy for me to put out high quality and compelling messaging from our clients and even from internal employees.
