Speaker: Dan Holman, Managing Director, Admiral Capital
Why are testimonial videos important to your business?
Dan Holman: So we very much operate in a people business where decisions are made as much on qualitative personal factors than on quantitative factors. And we need to convince essentially management teams and their boards to take a leap of faith and believe in certain attributes that are difficult to prove, such as trust. And video testimonials provide that that push and can speak towards those attributes with a more credible voice than if you try to say them about yourself.
How are you using Vocal Video?
Dan Holman: So we're using Vocal Video to put our CEO and CFO references into the room with our target audience to establish credibility and build our brand. So we ourselves are a new entity, and what this does is it helps to weave into our story, our longer operating history working with these management teams.
If you had to describe Vocal Video in one or two sentences, what would you say?
Dan Holman: So Vocal Video is a very scalable tool that enables you to capture the voice and image of your reference and deliver in an easy to consume format for your intended audience.
How does Vocal Video streamline the process of collecting and producing testimonial videos?
Dan Holman: So in my experience, the biggest challenge of building a library of video testimonials is in scheduling time with the reference themselves and getting in front of the camera. And with Vocal Video, it provides a very scalable and efficient way to put your reference in front of their PC or their iPhone to provide the video testimonial at the time and choosing in their place and still puts your voice in front of them. They can show your image asking the question and it makes it still very personal for them.
Would you recommend others try Vocal Video? Why?
Dan Holman: So I recommend giving Vocal Video try. It's a fast and efficient way to build your video testimonial library. As soon as you have a reference that agrees to give a testimonial, this is a way that you could prevent any sort of time elapsing from getting him in front of the camera. You can simply deliver to their iPhone or PC. They could do it the same night. You know, there's so many things that I'm working on in my day today that this is something you can just sort of hit the "easy button" on and complete right away.
