Zach Roberts: Hey everyone. My name is Zach Roberts. I'm a product marketing manager at Dropbox.
What does this Product Marketing Award mean to you?
Zach Roberts: The Newcomer of the Year Award means a lot. Just about this time, about 3 or nearly 3 years ago, I made the decision to make the transition from sales to product marketing. An interest that was looking from the outside, looking in, it seemed insurmountable. So to be here today, to be speaking in front of all of you, to share like the highlights, the challenges that came along the way in making that happen. It feels like a 360 experience, so like, ever so grateful to be nominated by my peers and to be recognized by everyone here at the Product Marketing Alliance and abroad.
Is there anyone else you would like to thank?
Zach Roberts: There's a lot of people I want to recognize, for anyone I know is familiar with making a career change or any big moves you make in a career, you know, you don't make it alone. And first person I love to recognize
Zach Roberts: This was not an achievement that was made alone, and I'm just so thankful that I could share this opportunity and just be an example of one of many of like, it is possible, you can do it. And if there's any way I could be of help, I hope that this is a platform that I can, that I can continue to use to help others that want to make that pivot too. Thank you.
