Taelor Newton: Hi everyone. My name is Taylor Newton and I am a middle school social studies teacher here in South Carolina. I wanted to share with you guys a few reasons why I love Discovery Education, and the first one is student engagement. Discovery Education creates so many activities that engage students. It interests them and it allows them the freedom to enjoy the assignments that they have to do. The second reason would be teacher workload. As a second year teacher it's super easy to get caught up in the whirlwind of finding different strategies to use and different tools that'll be helpful in the classroom and Discovery Education really eliminates the back and forth with figuring out what works in the classroom. The third reason is because they include their teachers. It's super important to me inside of the classroom to utilize platforms and companies that care about what teachers think and Discovery Education has done a phenomenal job in making sure that I as a teacher feel that way and it's super important to me.
