What is your role at Advance Local and how long have you been with the company?
Amina: Hi, I'm Amina. I'm a revenue analyst for our Northeast Local Media Groups: Advance Media New York, Mass Life Media, and PA Media Group. I've been with the company for almost 10 years and started as a junior account executive in our automotive category.
What does a typical day look like?
Amina: A typical day consists of juggling many different tasks, whether it's analyzing different opportunities to grow our revenue streams or helping teams work on RFPs, everything in between, and it's always exciting.
What do you like best about working at Advance Local?
Amina: I would say the best part about working for Advance Local is feeling connected to every aspect of the business, whether you're sitting in a hub on the West Coast or the East Coast or entirely working remote, we do a great job in making sure everyone has a pulse on what we're doing, whether it's on our journalism side or for sales.
How would you describe Advance Local in three words?
Amina: Collaboration, connected, and innovation. And I say innovation because whether it's we're looking for opportunities to develop our own talent or finding solutions for our customers, we are always finding an opportunity to improve.
