Pekhna Suri: Hi, my name is Pekhna I'm leading the HR for Platinum account
Pekhna Suri: and the business consulting group. I'm based out of Mumbai.
Share your growth journey, highlighting any significant milestones/challenges you've overcome
Pekhna Suri: I've been in Virtusa for 13 years + now and I've handled various roles like BUHR, Location HR, Shared services and now a Service line. I've been leading HR for Citi,
Pekhna Suri: I was also part of the integration of Virtusa and Polaris, which has been a great learning experience from a change management standpoint.
What inspires you the most about Virtusa's culture?
Pekhna Suri: What I like most about Virtusa is its inclusive culture, which empowers associates to excel and grow. I have been part of great learning programs like the Gold leadership program, as well as the coaching program from Erickson International, which have helped me both in my personal and professional growth.
How have you benefited from or contributed to Virtusa's mentoring programs?
Pekhna Suri: So as a coach, I find great fulfillment in helping people realize their potential and giving their best.
Could you share an experience that demonstrates how Virtusa fosters a culture of inclusion?
Pekhna Suri: Recently, I completed a course on AI applications offering insights into how technology is reshaping businesses. I'm really grateful that this course was extended to all functions including HR and it shows Virtusa' commitment towards making sure that everybody remains best with whatever are the latest technological advancements happening today.
Describe your experience as a woman working at Virtusa, and the message you would like to share with colleagues
Pekhna Suri: Virtusa provides many opportunities it is for us to come forward and make the most of them. I've always had very supportive managers who have given me great autonomy at work. I've also been part of great teams and together we've been able to achieve our goals.
