Provide a brief introduction of yourself
Dena Sayama: My name is Dena Sayama. I've been at Wired Quote since 2011, just two years after Wired Quote launched in the Oregon market. I've done a little bit of everything at Wired Quote over the years, but my main focus has been in sales and business development.
What problem did you see in the industry that led to the creation of Wired Quote?
Dena Sayama: The problem that we saw in the industry around the time that Wired Quote was launched was that carriers had very recently created online quoting tools that agents would log into in order to gather quotes from those carriers. That changed the process of getting quotes quite a bit for the agents.
Dena Sayama: What was once a pretty simple process of sending group detail to carriers and having those carriers send quotes back became a process of logging into multiple different carrier websites, navigating those websites, gathering the quotes and then putting those quotes into a usable format for their groups. So Wired Quote created an interface where agents can log into Wired Quote, enter their group detail just one time, and then Wired Quote goes to the carriers on the agents behalf to gather the quotes. We return all of the plans and rates back through the Wired Quote interface. And agents can also use Wired Quote
Dena Sayama: back through the Wired Quote interface. And agents can use Wired Quote to put those plans into a side-by-side comparison for their groups making the whole process much, much simpler.
Who does Wired Quote serve and what values do you provide?
Dena Sayama: Wired Quote is a tool for group health insurance agents. Not only can agents get quotes from carriers through Wired Quote, but they can also compare those plans, rates and benefits side-by-side within Wired Quote, create a custom presentation for their groups, and also enroll new groups with those carriers through Wired Enroll. Over the years, what started out really as a small group, quoting tool is not just for small groups anymore. Our carrier relationships have grown to a point where we can also offer quoting for underwritten health plans, association health plans, level-funded plans, ancillary plans, and really any other type of plan out there in the market. Dena Sayama: So there's a lot of efficiency for agents in working with Wired Quote, but also our carrier partners to see much, much more efficient processes when working with Wired Quote.

Dena Sayama: All of us at Wired Quote could not be more excited about joining Vimly.
