What does a shift in the life of an Emergency Veterinarian at VEG look like?
Dr. Rinelli: Hi, my name is Dr. Lynsey Rinelli, and I'm an Emergency Veterinarian for Veterinary Emergency Group. What does a shift in the life of an Emergency Veterinarian look like at the VEG? I would say it's unique. It's fun. It is a day that you not only collaborate with your colleagues, your friends, your support staff, but you also have the ability to teach Fellows and Externs. The thing that makes VEG the most different and the most unique, the most innovative I would say is that you get to have those families and friends with their pets during the whole process. They can be with you in treatment, they can be there for the procedure that you're working on. They can help you in the way of holding oxygen for their pet. And it's a unique way to be able to teach them and help them understand what's going on when their pet is most critical.
