What does a shift in the life of an Emergency Veterinarian at VEG look like?
Dr. Huselton: Hi, I'm Jamie Huselton, an ER Doctor at VEG. While each shift at VEG is a little different due to the diverse cases we see, we share common goals each shift. We try to start each shift with a huddle. This is a quick gathering with our team that helps organize ourselves for the day. set goals and learn something new about one another, the team, everyone from the receptionist, the assistance to the technicians, to the doctors. We all try really hard to make the experience the best it can be for both the patient and the client, no matter the circumstances, Knowing we are helping pets in need and feeling that gratitude our clients show makes each shift rewarding. No matter how busy the shift may get.
