Why did you choose Verito?
Mark Pricco: We needed a replacement because drake hosted no longer was gonna be offering that product. So I looked on facebook posts, asked other tax professionals and Verito came strongly recommended, called their sales team. And, they won me over. I gave them a try and been happy ever since.
How was your transition to Verito?
Mark Pricco: We were using drake hosted in 2019 and then 2020 we switched to Verito. So transitioning, we just had to download all of our client files, send them Securely over to Verito. We went all the way back to 2012, so that was 2012 All the way through 2019 at the time. It was pretty smooth transition. It was a matter of just once I got the files to them, they just took it from there, notified me when it was ready, opened up the application and everything was good, ready to go.
How are you enjoying the service so far?
Mark Pricco: Honestly, the Verito's service is second to none. I mean 24/7, 365 you can't ask for anything better than that. when you call you get answers immediately, which is incredible. In today's world, for sure. So we've been so pleased with their service and their entire product. It's just, it's made our office run so much smoother.
How has your daily routine changed since moving to the cloud?
Mark Pricco: We were a drake hosted user, so we're kind of used to working in the cloud already, with Verito, it just made everything easier, quicker. So now my daily routine is working from home more than I used to and just the whole process because the application loads so quick. Again, we were in the cloud before, it's just with Verito, it's just so much better and so much easier to get to the cloud and to function and operate from either home or wherever you want to be.
What would you tell someone who's thinking about switching?
Mark Pricco: if you're on the fence right now switching to the cloud, you might be doing, like, what I used to do is I would do log me in, where I would remote in, take over a work station. You know, if I'm at my house takeover workstation at the office, so I could use my tax software. At that time, that was the best solution to have. Then we moved to another solution, Drake hosted, which offered cloud services. That wasn't the best. Now we're at Verito, which we've just taken another leap to provide better cloud services for ourselves. So we are operating about as efficiently as you can. Again, you get to use your same application, so you're used to that and now you're doing it from anywhere you'd like, so it might be a little more money, but what you're gonna save in efficiency in time, it just outweighs the cost by far. So just do it and you'll never go back.
