Nicholas O'Connor: Hello, I'm Nicholas O'Connor, The EMEA Customer Reference Manager. And this is the global reference team's summary of activity for 2022. In 2022, the customer reference team has completed 72 customer success stories and with 28 in the pipeline, we've almost reached our target of 100 stories. Creating success stories is extremely important to the sales cycle. Did you know, 92% of customers trust recommendations from people they know, and brand advocates are 50% more likely to influence a purchase. This is also an opportunity for sales to nominate new enterprise customers to create case studies for 2023. In this short video, I'll share best practice tips on how to secure new customers, share resources you can use for RFPs, and tell you more about the bonus scheme and how you can earn $1000 for completing a customer story. The customer reference team wants to increase the momentum of stories completed and to do that, we need your help.

EMEA customer highlights of 2022

Tips on how to nominate customers and secure your bonus!

Nicholas O'Connor: Here are some steps and tips to help you secure your bonus and influence the pipeline of success stories. 1st ask the customer if they are happy to be a customer advocate and create a success story or video and share the customer reference brochure with them. The brochure outlines all the reference activities customers can participate in and should help gauge their interest. 2nd, if the customer says yes, nominate them using the customer reference intake form or email details to the customer reference team, alias and the appropriate regional manager will respond. 3rd, review the story during the internal review process. In order to qualify for the bonus, all stories must be completed within 120 days of their nomination. An extra bonus tip is tell us about the customer's goals, objectives and values as we can highlight these in the story.
