Speaker: Emmanuel Horeaux, VP Talent Development & DEI
What is your name and role at Vantiva?
Emmanuel Horeaux: Hello, I'm Emmanuel Horeaux, Vice President of Talent Development and DEI at Vantiva
What does diversity look like at Vantiva?
Emmanuel Horeaux: We are a global company of over 5000 employees, representing more than 50 nationalities in 20 countries. We sincerely cherish this diversity. It is one of our major strengths that drives our success and continues to fuel our 130 year legacy of innovation.
What is Vantiva’s commitment to DEI?
Emmanuel Horeaux: Our commitment to DEI is clear, every employee should feel valued, safe and included regardless of their background. We are very proud of our many initiatives and continued efforts to ensure that Vantiva is and remains a workplace that is diverse, equitable, inclusive and welcoming to all.
What are some of the DEI initiatives you are most proud of?
Emmanuel Horeaux: All of the DEI work we do at Vantiva is something to be proud of. But some of our most significant moments came over the past 18 months, including our work on bridging the gender pay gap where we reached a 3% difference in June 2023. This is a significant achievement and is the result of continued engagement of Vantiva and its leadership. Last year, our CEO Luis Martinez-Amago has signed the CEO pledge, joining more than 2500 corporate leaders committing to advance diversity and inclusion in the workplace. More recently, we have exceeded government mandates for the employment of people with disabilities in countries where it exists like China, Brazil, South Korea and France. In France More than 6% of our workforce is composed of talents with disabilities. This is a significant achievement, particularly due to the high industry demand of individuals with such specific skills. I believe that our ability to attract and retain such talent illustrates the efforts that we put into the recruitment and development of our employees. None of these achievements would have been possible without the commitment of all the volunteers composing our DEI Board.
What are the challenges for individuals with disabilities, and how does Vantiva address them?
Emmanuel Horeaux: It is an unfortunate reality that individuals with disabilities often face career hurdles that their peers do not. At Vantiva We do our best to minimize these challenges by offering customized support and adaptive benefits starting from the recruitment process and continuing throughout their career with us, our aim is to highlight their talents and remove any barriers caused by disabilities to ensure that they have every opportunity to succeed. We only focus on people's capabilities. This is just one of the many societal challenges we address at Vantiva I am proud to contribute to this work every day. Diversity, equity, inclusion are core values for me. And I'm grateful to help create a supportive, inclusive environment for our employees and communities.
