Daniel Nunez : Hola, my name is Daniel Nunez and I am the North America Legal Entity Controller at Vantiva.
What does your Hispanic heritage mean, and how has it shaped your identity?
Daniel Nunez : It really means who I am and what I have come from to be what I am today. It has shaped my beliefs, my values and made me the person who I am now.
How has your cultural background influenced your career or the way you approach your work?
Daniel Nunez : I will say that definitely the warmth and kindness that characterizes as Mexicans have been key to develop myself every day with my colleagues and clients.
How do you celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, and why do you think it's important to recognize it in the workplace?
Daniel Nunez : Being away from my relatives has made me very proud of my roots every day. Also in the last year, I have had the opportunity to learn a bit from other peers and their culture, which has made me realize how diverse and multicultural Vantiva is.
What advice would you give to others in the Hispanic community, particularly young professionals entering the workforce?
Daniel Nunez : To believe in themselves, to always be professional in everything they do, to develop with passion, to always remember and feel proud where they come from and to give everything to achieve each goal they set.
