What specific vision challenges or discomfort were you experiencing before trying the Custom Stable lenses?
Walker Q.: Before I was using daily lenses that couldn't reach the power of my prescription. Um because they only come in um, half sizes and not quarter sizes. And I was also having issues with my eyes tolerating the material that the lenses are made of. And so since I've been wearing contacts for 30 years, it, they started to become, my eyes started to become uncomfortable with standard type daily lenses. And now I don't have any problems.
How have our lenses improved your daily activities or quality of life since you started wearing them?
Walker Q.: Previously I could wear, uh, my daily contacts for just a few hours before my eyes became irritated and a lot of times they started out irritated and then I just couldn't even wear them at all. So now, um, with the scleral lenses, I'm able to wear them all day long and because of the way they sit on the eye, some stuff doesn't get underneath them. And so it's really a game changer.
What would you say to someone considering the Custom Stable lenses who may be hesitant to try them?
Walker Q.: For someone who's considering using the custom stable Squire lenses, I would say do it. It is a lot easier than you might first think my first, um, experience with my doctor practicing, putting them in. I did fumble and have some difficulty, but the second time I got one in on the first time and I just at home, after I brought them home, I was able to get them in virtually with no problems. And so it's definitely worth it. And I highly recommend.
