What specific vision challenges or discomfort were you experiencing before trying the Custom Stable lenses?
Custom Stable Wearer: Well, um, before my scleral lenses, my eyes were so dry and torn up the whole bottom half of my eye in both eyes, um, had just like holes all in it. Um, and no drops or gels or anything could heal it well enough, um, for me to get better. So, um, these lenses protect my eyes all day and I feel great when I wear them. In fact, I wear them like 13, 14 hours a day and I love them. Um, and I hate to take them out at the end of the day. Um, but they've made my life a lot better.
How have our lenses improved your daily activities or quality of life since you started wearing them?
Custom Stable Wearer: Will just improve my quality of life by making it so I can see and keep my eyes open all day because before I was like this and I was, you know, just miserable and in pain. Um, so, yeah, they, they've just made it so I can live.
What would you say to someone considering the Custom Stable lenses who may be hesitant to try them?
Custom Stable Wearer: Well, they do take some getting used to, they're kind of big and I was not a contact lens wearer at all before. Um, and then there's a whole thing about getting them in your eye because you don't just put them in the same way you do other kind of contacts. But if you can stick with it, um, and don't be afraid it, once you realize that you feel better when you wear them, you just get over that and then they don't bother you at all, like you get used to them pretty quickly and you don't feel them in your eyes. If I think about it, I can feel it. I can feel it if I go like that but they don't bother me a bit.
