Unnamed Respondent: I've been wearing scleral lenses for about 7 years now and have been a customer of custom stable scleral lenses for the last 3 years. And before, um, custom stable and using other brands, I was having issues with protein buildup on the lenses or getting debris. Under the lenses, um, my vision would become blurry sometimes after a few minutes or, um, even on up into the day, um, of wearing other branded lenses. But with custom stable lenses, I found that I have less of that issue and I'm not having to take my lenses out, um, throughout the day, cleaning them to put them back in. Um, obviously that is something that's, um, That you don't want to do, especially if you're working throughout the day or, um, or at a place where it's not really feasible for you to take your lenses out, clean them and have to put them back in. So, um, custom stable lenses has really helped, um, to, to decrease that for sure.
Unnamed Respondent: Since wearing custom stable lenses, I have noticed that I have, um, a decrease the number of times that I have to take my contacts out due to blurry, um, blurriness from like protein buildup or debris that gets under the contacts. Um, I can usually get an All day wear out of them about, uh, 12 to 14 hours before I notice, um, anything where I have to clean them or that they're, um, uncomfortable, whereas other brands, I was having to take them out multiple times a day due to discomfort or for cleaning reasons.
Unnamed Respondent: For someone that's considering wearing custom stable lenses, I would explain to them how comfortable they are to wear. Um, my sizing has gotten bigger over time due to, um, my eye needs, but no matter how large my lenses are, they're always comfortable. I can't tell that I have. The in once they're in. Um, I can't feel them at all, um, unless they start to get dry, which is on my, my side, but, um, that's when I'm ready to take them out at night is about the only time that I can really feel that they're there, um, but they've really improved my quality of life and are super comfortable.
