Laurie Leonard: Hello, my name is Laurie Leonard and I'm in Illinois and I work for district 299 which is Chicago public schools.
How did United Schools Associates help you?
Laurie Leonard: United Schools Association helped me by introducing me to several benefits, especially the payroll protection plan. I signed up last year, not knowing that the following year, I would experience a tragic loss in my life that would cause me to have to go on a leave. Um I struggled with that and um I didn't know how I was gonna make it financially. Um, but thanks to United Schools Association, I was enrolled in the payroll protection plan which uh provided me with a disability claim and I've been able to cover all of my bills. Um I received a payment weekly and I am very grateful the representatives that have been calling helped me from step one of filing a claim to all the way through to following up with me. Um checking on me, see how I'm doing. That's really, really good. So they have a lot of great things going on there at United Schools Association and I'm so glad that I signed up.
Would you recommend United Schools Associates to other educators?
Laurie Leonard: I would definitely refer other educators to United Schools Association. Uh As a matter of fact, I have a couple of coworkers, they call and check on me and I was explaining to them, um what I've experienced with uh United Schools Association and they want to reach out to see how they can sign up as well. Um Yeah, definitely recommend it 10 out of 10.
