Speakers: Ernie Downey. Jim Cummings. Jamion Wolford
Jim Cummings: Hi, this is Jim Cummings with First United Methodist Church in Huntington.
Jim Cummings: We knew The Foundation could do a lot but, didn't realize exactly how good it was going to be until we turned it over to him about nine or 10 years ago. And they have done an excellent job. I wish we had done that sooner because they've certainly made, our lives much easier.
Jamion Wolford: Hello, I am Jamion Wolford, the West Virginia United Methodist Conference Treasurer. And I work with The Foundation and its staff regularly and I'm always inspired as I learn from them and see that they are truly part of God's provisioning of our ministries across the Annual Conference. And especially as we work with them with the Council on Finance and Administration to help guide the investments and reserves of the Conference and how we can continue to grow those resources that God has given us.
Ernie Downey: My name is Ernie Downey. I'm a lifetime member of Saint Andrew United Methodist Church in Saint Albans, West Virginia.
Ernie Downey: The Foundation and the individuals that I've worked with have been a blessing, not only to me and our congregation, but also to our church. Their continued support and goals have allowed our church to continue to perform outreach in the form of ministries, music scholarships and other things within the community and within the state of West Virginia and within the world.
Jim Cummings: Myy last thought would be that, it's, it's, you know, what, what they do is just phenomenal but it's not just what they do but it's, it's really how they do it.
