Importance of eye contact on a video presentation?

Kay Kane: It's important when you're giving a video presentation that you understand, your eye contact is eye contact with the camera, is eye contact with the viewer. If you're not connected and you're looking off to the side, it's very distracting to the viewer. So it's important to being aware of where your camera is either using one that's attached to your laptop. It's built in practice, get used to understanding where your camera is on your equipment and for your notes and your script, you don't want to have them off on a separate monitor where you have to keep having a shifty side eye to check, just play around with your system, put your notes either right below it off to the side, there's lots of great setups to do. So when you're giving a video presentation, be very aware of the eye contact. So you maintain your connection with your audience and have a more effective presentation.
