Speaker: Sue Webeck

Introduce yourself, and describe how Turning Stones helped you or your business. (A brief overview of the project)

Sue Webeck : My name is Sue. We and I'm the CEO of the Domestic Violence Crisis service here in the AC T. Recently, Turning Stones supported us in appointing a senior position to our corporate services team. Turning Stones was able to take a very quick and efficient brief of the requirements of the organization and turn that into a remarkably effective advertisement following placement of that advertisement. It was an incredibly quick turnaround to having Turning Stones provide a candidate list that held a wealth of experience and provided a incredibly great challenge for us in finding the most exceptional candidate out of a grouping of highly professional and skilled candidates. Turning Stones was incredibly effective with their communication, incredibly efficient in the way that they communicated with us, which ensured that limited resources were taken away from our front line, critical crisis service delivery. While also achieving incredibly great recruitment outcomes for the organization, uh the support of Turning Stones has made sure that we have been able to appoint somebody into the senior role in the organization that will help secure our sustainability long into the future a recruitment process which we would not have been able to successfully undertake without the support, guidance and high quality service of turning stone.

Why did you choose to work with Jo?

Sue Webeck : We chose to work with Joe at Turning Stones to ensure that we had the best opportunity for a successful recruitment, noting very limited time and resources for our organization to focus on recruitment, particularly for senior positions in our organization. We wanted to make sure that we were doing. It's with the professionalized support that Joe provides to ensure that we weren't going out to market with unrealistic expectations, but also that we had the opportunity to attract the highest possible candidates for the role.

How does Turning Stones Recruitment & Search compare to other similar services you've used?

Sue Webeck : Turning stone's recruitment and search took the time to understand what our core business is and to understand the unique and dynamic work environment that we operate in which really helped to ensure that the initial screening of candidates was done accurately and reflected the expectations that people should have coming into an agency like ours, which really made the process um significantly more efficient from our end. Uh in terms of the standard and quality of the of the candidates who came through, but also their expectations of coming into the team. It really was that key difference of taking the time to understand our core business and to understand the cultural fit that would be required in our workplace. So it really stands turning stones recruitment and search apart from any other agency we've worked with.

What you say to another business / hiring manager considering using Jo for their next recruitment process?

Sue Webeck : Ultimately having Joe's support in a recruitment process not only makes it easier and makes it feel like you have a trusted resource that can provide insights and analysis into your expectations about what it is that you might receive from market. Um in regards to work that needs to be completed in your organization or jobs which need to be filled, but it is efficient. It creates a significant um administrative burden that can be held by organizations or individuals in organizations and provides an incredibly streamlined communication process that really does make it a timely and cost effective option to work with Jo um using her expertise and specialist advice to ensure that those recruitment processes take significantly less time. Uh Then uh if you would have shoulder that on your own.
