Please introduce yourself and tell us why you chose TurboBid.

Geof Gratny: I'm Jeff Graney with GSS Electric in Northwest Montana. So I chose TurboBid when I first started my business in 2008 on a recommendation that I read from the national trainer, Mike Holt. Not knowing anything about bidding software, I just went ahead and bought TurboBid and dove in. The real question is why did I stay with TurboBid? Because there's dozens of options that I could use. So one reason I stay with TurboBid is because the customer service is the best, better than Google, better than Quickbooks, better than my CPA my cell phone provider. I get a return call from TurboBid sometimes within minutes. I found that the features built in TurboBid are very useful for the customer's report. My double checking for right calculations gives me a lot of peace of mind that I got the right values and the right places. That's pretty important on larger bids. You could lose a lot of money if you can't analyze your numbers. My projects range from $10,000 to $800,000. So there's one feature that general contractors and owners tell me that put my proposals head and shoulders above the rest regardless of price. And that is the room by room reports. They're non-technical in street language makes it easier to confirm what's included in each one of the buildings. Most of our work is commercial, industrial government projects. I recently had a friendly competitor, use another popular commercial estimating software. He joined me on a large project. He was working right behind me and my numbers were easy to justify. My reports were clear. The an analytical reports, we found some little mistakes that I keyed in that we fixed. His reports were confusing and they offered no way to finding errors. It was kind of scary. And when he saw my reports, he kept asking me, where do I get TurboBid? So TurboBid is probably best described as a confidence builder. There's many ways to estimate and the estimating software market is active and desperate. I also get invites by email several times a week for their estimating services. None of them will give you the confidence your numbers are accurate. There's a difference between a $150,000 proposal you put out with confidence, and the same price proposal without confidence. That's probably the biggest reason I stay with TurboBid.
