Speaker: Elizabeth Cook, RN
Please start by sharing your name, your role, and how long you've been traveling!
Elizabeth Cook: Hi, my name is Elizabeth Cook. I've been traveling since 2020. Primarily work in IC. U sometimes in, er, and sometimes as a nursing supervisor.
Is there a favorite assignment or story from your travels that you can share?
Elizabeth Cook: I've had a couple of very memorable assignments. Um But I think the one that stands out the most is the Fort Defiance Indian Hospital in Fort defiance, Arizona. I've worked there twice uh for extended assignments and fell completely in love with the Navajo people, the culture, the landscape, the hospital, I, I can't say enough positive things about um about the experience. I'm very grateful to have been welcomed into that community twice. Um Wish that I could give more than, than I've given. And uh again, I'm just very, very grateful for the time I was able to spend there.
What financial goals have you accomplished through your travel career?
Elizabeth Cook: Um, as far as financial goals, I don't really have, um, a, a, an exciting story, um, maybe even a sad one, but I've been able to salvage my, my home of 27 or 28 years, which was very close to going into foreclosure when I started, um, started traveling and that's been super special.
How has working with Trusted impacted your experience?
Elizabeth Cook: So I started traveling with trusted about a year and a half ago and that was based on some very positive feedback that I've gotten from nurses that I had worked with. Um and how it's impacted my travel experience so far uh has been that it has made the experience extremely easy. Um Everything is very straightforward. The staff are very prompt with their responses. They keep up with all of the compliance that needs to be done. And there are no, no questions about um what to expect with the assignments. Everything is completely straightforward and I have found that I, I really enjoy that aspect of working for an agency that does not put a recruiter in between me and the potential employer.
